The photography was supplied by the client digitally. While generally happy with the shot the client felt additional work was required. Sitting with the creative we prepared it for newsprint, lightening the shot overall and also carrying out some creative adjustments.

The final Ad has just started to appear in the National Press on the eve of England's opening game and it looks great!
First, the badge was looking very flat around the stitched areas, there was an existing embossed feel in these areas but it was far too subtle and would have been lost printing on newsprint. Second, around the cats eyes the stitching was messy and the white areas on the cat needed to be whiter. Third, the shirt needed to have additional folds added, also existing folds required more contrast.
Each element: paws, cats, badge border were masked. Although time consuming, this provided complete control over the areas to be worked on.
